Wedsy provided reception styling for a 180-guest wedding at Doltone House Western Sydney's La Boheme, on 23 November 2025, in an all-white palette with a hint of gold.
What Wedsy Styled
- Full ceiling draping throughout the reception, in an uneven, easy-drape style, complemented by the venue's existing chandelier
- A stage with couple seating, backed by 21 metres of velvet draping to cover the venue's existing beige draping
- King tables styled with a long floral runner featuring fresh baby's breath, real sand, and floating candles
- Remaining round tables styled with bud vases of fresh roses and sand candles
- A welcome sign and seating chart on 2-metre-high signage boards, surrounded by florals and candles
Why La Boheme
The ceiling draping was the standout element here — the venue's existing chandelier added to the effect rather than competing with it, and the 21m velvet backdrop let the stage styling override the venue's existing beige tones entirely.
The Result
The reaction from guests was overwhelmingly positive — the groom said he could hardly believe it was his own reception room, and praised the styling team and the bride for putting it together; the bride was thrilled with the result.
